About

Working in an agency, has taught me many valuable skills. Such as teamwork, usability testing/user interviews, wire framing, and public speaking. Tools such as Sketch, Invision, and the Adobe Suite are programs I am very confident in using.

Traveling has influenced me in a number of ways. From biking the Gardens of Versailles to exploring the Spanish Forts in San Juan, traveling has really inspired me as a designer. When I am home, I find inspiration through hiking, photography, and yoga.

Design is something I am very passionate about. Being able to do what I love is a blessing. I enjoy understanding the behaviour and creating a visually-appealing experience for the user. I always strive to learn new skills and stay involved in the community.

An Award Winning Logo

OBJECTIVE

To design an innovative logo for the Kamloops Startup Weekend Competition. We had 72 hours to design a brand and prototype and present the final result to a panel of judges. The brand our group created was a ventilation system that you can control the temperatures with your phone.

SOLUTION

I chose the green mint colour to give the logo a "fresh" look. I only used this method for the last four letters to show that the air is blowing in a specific direction.

Europe Trip

Personal Poster Design

OBJECTIVE

To show images from my trip to Europe in a fun and creative way.

SOLUTION

I chose a geometric style to the poster by adding different sizes of triangles, these triangles included images of the trip as well as outlines of the triangles.

Halloween Themed Poster

Poster Design

OBJECTIVE

Create a poster for a themed party that attracted young adults.

SOLUTION

I found inspiration from big EDM posters and applied them to this poster. The smoke, skill and blood red all give aspects of a gorey Halloween.

Magazine Cover

Business Card Design

OBJECTIVE

To design a single sided business card that give all the TRUSU Computer Science Clubs contact information to students around campus.

SOLUTION

I wanted to design and create an innovative way to display the information as visual, and as large as I possibly can. I used a geometric style layout and incorporated the blue and the green from the logo. The information is on a slant because I wanted the information to align with the crisp geometric edge, thus giving the piece a clean and unified look.
